Comprehensive guidelines for submitting your research abstract to EURO-RIYADH 2025
Late submissions will not be accepted. Plan ahead and submit early to avoid technical issues.
Abstract Content
- Maximum 300 words (excluding title, authors, and references)
- Title limited to 20 words maximum
- 3-5 keywords required
- Specialty selection optional but recommended
- English language only
- Original work not published elsewhere
Author Information
- Maximum 8 authors per abstract
- One corresponding author required
- All authors must approve submission
- At least one author must register for congress
- Presenting author must attend in person
Title
Concise and informative, reflecting the main finding of your research. Should clearly communicate the essence of your work in 20 words or less.
Background
Briefly state the clinical problem or knowledge gap in 2-3 sentences. Establish the context and importance of your research question.
Objectives
Clearly define the purpose of your study, case report, or project. State what you aimed to achieve or investigate.
Methods
Provide essential methodological information including:
- • Study design: Retrospective, prospective, RCT, case report, etc.
- • Population or patient(s): Who was studied
- • Intervention or exposure: What was done or observed
- • Outcomes measured: Primary and secondary endpoints
Results
Present key findings with statistics if available, otherwise use descriptive outcomes. Avoid lengthy details and focus on the most relevant data that answers your research question.
Conclusion
State your main take-home message and its clinical significance. Emphasize the impact on ICU practice and how your findings contribute to critical care medicine.
